Required Skills:

• Provide “Canadian after hour” support for CSC team.
• Troubleshooting daily issues and handle and follow through tickets assigned to CSC team especially during after hours.
• Review daily system generated reports and take necessary actions.
• Work with Deloitte practitioners (the client) in issue resolutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning, execution and supportability.
• Provide on-going management, monitoring and troubleshooting of CSC Systems.
• Follow operational policies and processes that are compliant with ITIL standards.
• Participate in change control activities.
• Conduct scheduled system maintenance activities.
• 3+ years of System Administration experience with Windows 2003/2008/2012 and Linux Server environments.
• Good understanding of System and Network design principles.
• Networking knowledge, understanding of firewall rule based and change process. Understanding of IPsec VPN connectivity setup.
• Experience with DMZ application architecture (Ports, IPSEC, Firewall rules etc.).
• Understanding of Active Directory, Security and Networking principles.
• Good working knowledge of VMWare ESX / vSphere 4, VMware View infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Citrix infrastructure and publishing applications through Citrix.
• Familiarity with MS-SQL Server 2005/2008/2012.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Systems Management Tools (i.e. HP Insight Manager, SCOM, SCCM, Solarwin).
• Working experience in a hosting service provider environment is an asset.
• Completed bachelor’s degree program, preferably in computer science, engineering or a related discipline.
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) designation is an asset.
• ITIL v3 and other industry certifications.
• Proven analytical, resourceful problem solving skills.
• A willingness to be a team player and demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm.
• Good communication, client service and organizational skills.
• Good technical documentation skills.
• Professional attitude.
